Resources for Growth

MN KC Blog * Written by David Whatmuff

Coming off our successful Midyear State Deputies Meeting, we are pleased to provide you with several resources  to help you have a successful second half of the fraternal year.

  • Best Practices Strategies list for membership growth, council operations and council programs. Many councils are struggling with how to best operate and grow during the current COVID environment…these Best Practices will give councils specific, practical guidance on how to stay engaged with their members while attracting new members and serving their parishes and communities. Please share them with the grand knights and district deputies in your jurisdiction.
  • An “Elevator Speech” wallet card. In many recruiting situations we have a very brief amount of time to engage with a prospect. This card contains specific talking points for members to use in a 1:1 conversation with prospective members so to help members make the most of that short time. Please share this card with all council leaders and members.
  • A :30 Radio Commercial promoting Online Membership. This fraternal year, over 10,000 men have joined the Order online. That’s an impressive number, but it would surely be even higher if more Catholic men were aware of the opportunity. Supreme has developed a radio spot promoting membership and the free online membership offer good through 12/31/20. We encourage all jurisdictions to use this commercial beginning in December and schedule radio advertising on Catholic – or commercial – radio stations in your jurisdiction.  Please take advantage of this opportunity and encourage councils in your jurisdiction to do likewise by sending a copy of the commercial via e-mail to all prospective members.

We are confident that these resources will help drive growth in your jurisdictions. If you have any questions about how to most effectively utilize these resources, please reach out to either of us…we’ll be happy to help any way we can.
