We need Fourth-Degree members with the new uniform to participate as Honor Guards for Table Escorts and Candidate Registration. Please consider joining us as we welcome new Brother Sir Knights into the Fourth Degree.
Remember, our Order is only as strong as the next generation and we owe it all those we have known over the years, who worked so hard to promote and grow the order, to do the same. Just as each of us was asked by someone to join the Fourth Degree, I would ask all of us to ask one (1) brother knight to join us in October.
It’s never been easier or less expensive for candidates to join the Fourth Degree. Candidates must be a Third Degree Knight in Good Standing (an Exemplification of Charity, Unity & Fraternity on Friday evening for those candidates who need to complete their Third Degree). Complete a Form 4 application and pay the registration fee ($70 for candidates and Deacons; $35 for Priests).
Attire for a candidate is black or dark suit with a white shirt and necktie or a tuxedo may be worn. (Proposers, please make sure your candidate is attired properly). Any candidate serving in the armed forces of his country, fulltime police and firefighters may wear their Class A or dress uniform. Clergy and Seminarians wear their normal dress. Fourth Degree Members should wear the Uniform of the Fourth-Degree or are welcome to observe the Exemplification wearing a black or dark suit with a white shirt and necktie or a tuxedo.
We are in very challenging times, but we all need to do our part to grow the Fourth Degree and strengthen our Order. Only through the efforts of each Assembly in the District, can we grow our membership and make this Exemplification a great success. Help a brother Knight complete his journey to Knighthood.
