Knights of Columbus Bowling Tournament participants:
The pandemic is in the rearview mirror, time to have some fun and get life back to normal. Call your brother knights, dust off your ball. LET’S GO BOWLING!
The Minnesota State Knights of Columbus Bowling Association, invite all brother knights and family members to register for our 84th Annual Knights of Columbus Bowling Tournament to be held on the following two weekends: March 18-19 and March 25-26, 2023 at Hutch bowl, Hutchinson. You can register for singles, doubles and team events or all events.
Here is the prize money breakdown this year. All prize money are based on 50 teams (220 bowlers) participating in the tournament. The prize purse for each of the events (team, double, and single) will be $1900. The pay back ratio is 1 in 4. The all event prize is $400 Payback ratio is 1 in 10. The directors are anticipating approximately 200 bowlers participating in the tournament yearly. 100% of the prize money collected will be paid out. Tournament dates and time are handled on a first come first serve basis.
Family bowling will be offered in this year’s tournament Requirement for the tournament are that the male must be a brother knight, their wife and or daughter must be at least 18 years of age. The rules for qualifying to bowl are on the backside of the registration form. Please read carefully!
The price of the tournament is $26.00 per event, plus an additional $2.00 to register for the all events this year. Please see the registration form attached for all prices and events.
Team captains please include their email address at the bottom of the form. I want to send out confirmation letters by email this year. Your email address will only be used for the tournament.
Bowlers remember you do not have to be sanctioned by the USBC in order to bowl. You only need to be a member in good standing of the Knights of Columbus. Please be sure to provide each bowler’s sanction number & KC Membership number on the registration form. Your USBC sanction number should also be filled in if you wish to have any honor scores recorded to them. Grand Knight or Secretary must sign off that your team members are in good standing.
