Winter 4th Degree Exemplification

Subject: Winter Fourth Degree Exemplification on Saturday, January 09, 2021

As Master of the Minnesota District, I am pleased to announce our first Winter Fourth Degree Exemplification on Saturday, January 09, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon (Registration at 9:15 am). Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, we will be conducting a Hybrid “virtual” Fourth Degree Exemplification with the Degree Team performing the ceremony live while candidates will gather locally in small groups with their respective new Assembly and view the ceremony virtually.

This Exemplification will honor the Beatification of Blessed Fr. Michael J. McGivney and Hosted by Good Shepard Assembly #2604, SK Denny Behm, Navigator.

Please forward this information to every member of your Assembly and supported Councils as all Assemblies in Minnesota are invited to participate in this Exemplification.

Very specific instructions will be sent to each Assembly on how to complete and process a Form 4 for each candidate (if one has not already been processed) and also instructions on what to do on the day of the exemplification, including how to access the video/phone conference and any other actions that will be needed from you as part of the ceremony which will need to be strictly adhered to.

At the conclusion of the exemplification, the Faithful Navigator of each new Fourth Degree member will be mailed the Fourth-Degree lapel pin and new member certificate. Per those instructions, the Faithful Navigator will be authorized to officially Knight the new Sir Knight member at such time that it is safe to gather. Registration Forms and Fees must be received no later Saturday, December 27, 2020.

We are in very challenging times, but we all need to do our part to continue to move forward. Only through the efforts of each assembly in the District, can we grow our membership and make this Exemplification a great success. Let us set a record for Sir Knights joining our ranks and help a brother Knight complete the process. “NOW IS THE TIME FOR THE FOURTH DEGREE”.
