2025 State Convention
The 2025 State Convention is over and done. Our hosts in Rochester did a great job of organizing the events in both the Kahler Hotel and the Civic Center there. The State Officers had a meeting on Friday morning through until about 2:00 that afternoon and then there were training sessions from 3:00 until 5:00.
On Saturday the day started with a Mass celebrated by Bishop Izen from the Archdiocese. Then the business sessions were held and over lunch awards were listed and handed out. The afternoon started with a COR presentation and an actual COR meeting held. After that the current State Officers were all reelected and then the Delegates and Alternates for the Supreme Convention were elected.
The Delegates are:
Bou Gazley, David Whatmuff, Jesse Kosloski, Joe George, Jim Terwedo, Michael Bass Smith, Orville Fillbrandt, Joe Bertram, Robert Wagenman and Robert Penas.
The Alternates are:
Philip Harter, Jason Palo, Ralph Clement, Phomsamouth, Dan Lawrence, Kevin Ahlers, Jeremy Hadash, Mark Ritter, Marc Peters and Arnold Stenzel.
Our Supreme Guests were Ron Schwarz and his wife Janette. Ron is the Supreme Treasurer and they are from Oklahoma.
There was hospitality served on both Friday and Saturday evenings for all to unwind and enjoy snacks and beverages.
