2021 State Convention
Our State Convention for 2021 is now history and under the circumstances it went well. It was a challenge to say the least with Covid-19 still around. To start with, we found out that the Hotel ballroom would only hold 90 people maximum with proper spacing, so the State Deputy had to make some tough decisions about who to invite and how do we limit the amount of people coming to the convention. So the decision was made to only allow 1 delegate from each council to attend in person and the other would have to view it online. No State Staff other than Membership and Programs Director, no District Deputies, no wives and no Past State Deputies could be invited.
As time got nearer to the convention, covid restrictions were eased a little and now we could safely hold about 160 people in the ballroom. It was tough to guess what would be happening as we just didn’t know what to expect for numbers.
Click on the links on the right for access to the different sessions. The Saturday afternoon business session is a “Closed” meeting and so was available on Zoom to those members requesting a link.
